We’re excited to announce that Papertrail V2.0 is live! The app was released this morning, as well as our shiny new website and brand. Read on to find out more about what this means for you – the Papertrail community at large.
All the existing functionality our users know and love is of course here to stay. Apart from the new design and obvious lick of paint, the major differences are “under the bonnet”. Papertrail V.2 has been built to be more flexible and powerful, giving us more options for customisation, reporting and integrations with third party services as we continue to be adopted by more industries and users.
The first (and most exciting!) new feature to be released off the back of the new technology will be the Papertrail Mobile App. By using the Papertrail App, our account holders will be able to update their records on their mobile device – even when not connected to the internet. The app will be available in the Google Play and iOs App Store very soon – watch this space for more details.
New website and brand
Anyone who has followed our journey will know how far we have come from our days as Kitlog (the equipment inspections app Ben Scholes and Rob Walker launched in 2012), through to Papertrail as it stands today.
Papertrail is now home to over 750,000 equipment inspection records, has saved over 12,500 hours of time for our account holders, and boasts users in over 450 cities around the world. Papertrail is no longer a two-man operation, but a growing team of experts with offices in Newcastle and North Wales.
We think our new brand and website reflect Papertrail as it stands today – an innovative, fast-moving technology company committed to making life easier for our peers in the adventure, arboriculture and access industries worldwide.
As always, we’re incredibly grateful to all the Papertrail users, partners and friends who have helped us get this far – not to mention our development and customer support teams for all their amazing work.
We’re excited to see what the future brings for Papertrail and very much hope you’ll be part of if. If you have any feedback or comments on our new website and brand, we’d love to hear from you. Please do get in touch!
