Reaching New Heights with Papertrail: Wild Wood Adventure

Thursday, May 22, 2014

The UK’s biggest aerial adventure park is reaching new safety heights with Papertrail, as Wild Wood Adventure opens to the public today in Guildford, Surrey. Staff at the £1m development are using Papertrail to record inspections of personal protective equipment (PPE) including cables, wires and harnesses, as well as routine inspections of the treetop adventure course itself.

Director Steve Lane said using Papertrail to manage health and safety record keeping at the new aerial adventure park was an obvious choice:

“Customers will be coming here to have fun, but safety is our number one priority at all times. Papertrail’s web-based safety management system gives me an instant overview of which equipment has been inspected and the outcome of any checks.

Staff can update records from their iPad around the course to save time, and I’m alerted by the software when important inspections are due.”

Papertrail CEO Ben Scholes spent the day at the new park on Monday, helping set-up the new online record keeping system and enter records into the Wild Wood Adventure Papertrail account.

Ben says the course looks brilliant and he looks forward to having the chance to try it out on a future visit!

As well as providing the health and safety management software for new adventure park, operator Craggy Island will also be using Papertrail to manage health and safety record keeping at their indoor climbing centres in Guildford and Sutton.
