A BA set is checked by the wearer before use, cleaned and checked again after, and serviced by a trained technician at set intervals. Each cylinder also has its own periodic test date.

Can we track sets, cylinders and masks separately?
Yes. Each set, cylinder and mask can be its own record with its own inspection schedule and history. Group a set's components in a folder, or tag them together, so the whole set shows up in one view.
Can we scan a BA set instead of searching for it?
Yes. Tag each set, cylinder and mask with an NFC tag, QR code or barcode. Scanning it opens the record and its inspection history directly, without a manual search.
Does Papertrail align with NFCC guidance on BA equipment management?
Papertrail's schedules, checklists and certificates are configured to whatever standard or guidance your service already works to. We don't currently make a specific claim of NFCC alignment; ask us about your service's exact requirement on a demo.
